Young Americans for Liberty (YAL) is a youth political-advocacy organisation founded in 2008 out of the Ron Paul presidential campaign. Its stated mission is to identify, educate, train and mobilise young activists in support of limited government, free markets and personal liberty. The organisation describes itself as the largest pro-liberty youth movement in the United States and operates through more than 500 campus chapters nationwide.

The group works through what it calls a three-step model - Build, Elect, and Pass. Under this approach, YAL establishes chapters on college campuses, mobilises student activists to campaign for what it terms liberty-oriented legislators, and supports the passage of corresponding legislation. Its Operation Win at the Door initiative has seen thousands of student activists knock on more than 6 million doors.

Alongside its campus organising, YAL convenes the National Liberty Legislator Coalition, a group of state legislators that the organisation credits with passing more than 1,000 pro-liberty bills, among them measures on Universal School Choice, Constitutional Carry and tax reductions. The organisation's work is concentrated in the United States, spanning hundreds of college campuses.

YAL's culture is activist-driven and results-oriented, with an emphasis on training young organisers and on what it frames as long-term generational influence on American politics.
