Broward Children's Center is a private 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides medical, educational, therapeutic, recreational, daily living and advocacy services to infants, children and young adults with special health care needs. Founded in 1971 and based in Pompano Beach, Florida, the organisation operates a network of care that serves nearly 1,200 children and families a year and has been running for more than five decades.

Its services span a range of clinical and educational settings. These include Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC), applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy, developmental therapy and developmental preschools, and BCC Academy, a private school for students with special needs from pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. The centre also runs residential group homes for children and young adults, home health and daily living support, respite care for families, before and after school care, a summer camp programme and social services.

Work at the centre sits across several fields: pediatric healthcare, special education, ABA and developmental therapy, home health and residential care. The organisation describes itself as mission-driven, with an emphasis on independence, dignity and holistic development for each individual, and an advocacy-oriented approach to the children and families it serves.
