Boley Centers is a private, not-for-profit behavioral health and housing organisation based in St. Petersburg, Florida. Founded in 1970, it serves people with mental disabilities and other at-risk populations across Pinellas County and the wider Southeastern United States, offering residential housing, behavioural health care, employment assistance and homeless services. The organisation has been accredited by CARF, the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, since 1989.
Its residential housing programme operates 54 locations throughout Pinellas County, ranging from highly structured group homes to permanent supported apartments. Its behavioural health services, which focus on mental health recovery and independence, serve more than 1,200 individuals annually. The organisation also runs specialist programmes for veterans and young people, including youth employment initiatives, alongside The Firefly Project, which works with disadvantaged individuals and families.
Boley Centers states core values of dignity, respect, integrity, empathy and accountability, with a mission focused on people who are overlooked by traditional social services. Community partnerships feature in its model through the Boley Angels volunteer programme. Further information on the organisation and its programmes is available at https://boleycenters.org/.
