The Caring Place

The Caring Place is a non-profit organisation providing social services to homeless and needy populations across South Florida, including Miami and Broward County. Affiliated with Miami Rescue Mission and Broward Outreach Centers, it works to help individuals leave homelessness and become stable, contributing members of the community.

Its services cover the full arc from crisis to permanence. Emergency shelter is available for men, women and children, alongside residential and transitional housing programmes and, ultimately, permanent housing solutions. Job training and employment opportunities, education and computer literacy classes, healthcare services, and specialised programmes for at-risk youth round out the offer.
