Bike to the Beach

Bike to the Beach is a community-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2006 that organises charity cycling events to raise money for local autism and disability nonprofits. Through the Bike to the Beach Foundation (B2B), it runs fundraising programmes supporting autism research, awareness and outreach, with all money raised directed to causes in the local community. The organisation is part of the ADD Impact Network.

Its principal activity is the charity bike ride: fully supported cycling events open to participants of all skill levels, with distance options of 25, 50 and 100 miles. The events bring together riders, volunteers, families and corporate teams, and are built around inclusion, personal empowerment, teamwork, achievement and independent living.

Bike to the Beach operates across multiple regions of the United States, including Florida, the Washington DC / Maryland / Virginia area, New England and New York, supported by a nationwide rider community. The organisation has run events and fundraising for autism causes for over 15 years.
