Autism New Jersey

Autism New Jersey is a nonprofit resource hub and advocacy organization supporting people with autism spectrum disorder and their families statewide.

Autism New Jersey is a nonprofit organization that serves individuals with autism spectrum disorder and their families across the state. It functions as both a central resource hub and a leading state advocacy body, with a stated goal of creating a more autism-friendly New Jersey. Its work spans healthcare, education, law enforcement and community services, and it operates statewide, including Atlantic City.

The organisation runs the 800.4.AUTISM Helpline, which provides referrals, service information and current material about autism. Two further resources support families directly: the Knowledge Hub, containing articles and guidance on diagnosis, treatment and age-related concerns, and the Insurance Hub, which helps families understand coverage options. A Clinical Expertise initiative promotes best practices in autism care, while Family Wellness programmes offer ongoing support.

Community-facing work is delivered through the statewide Be Kind, Be a Leader and Be a Champion programmes. Autism New Jersey also hosts an Annual Autism Conference; the 44th edition is scheduled for October 2026 in Atlantic City.
