All Hands and Hearts
A global disaster relief nonprofit delivering emergency response and long-term community rebuilding and education recovery programmes across countries including Mexico, Nepal, the Philippines and Ukraine.
All Hands and Hearts is a global disaster relief nonprofit that partners directly with communities to deliver both immediate emergency response and long-term recovery programs. Its work falls under three headings: Emergency Relief, covering response during earthquakes, hurricanes, floods and other humanitarian disasters; Comprehensive Rebuilding, covering long-term reconstruction in affected communities, such as rebuilding schools in Mexico since 2009; and Restoring Education, programmes aimed at getting children back into classrooms after disasters.
The organisation operates across multiple countries, among them Mexico, the Philippines, Nepal, Colombia, Venezuela, Afghanistan and Ukraine. Some of its country programmes are long-running: the Philippines since 2007, the school rebuilding in Mexico since 2009 and flood relief in Nepal since 2015. The stated aim is to help communities recover faster, rebuild stronger and prepare for future challenges, with an emphasis on sustainability, stability and resilience for the populations it serves.
Work is carried out alongside local communities and partners rather than in place of them, with volunteer mobilisation forming a central part of delivery. Roles combine field-oriented humanitarian work with professional project management and an explicit focus on community empowerment.
