Southwest Behavioral & Health Services (SB&H) is a non-profit behavioral health organisation founded in 1969 and headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona. Originally established as a federally funded programme through a partnership known as St. Luke's - Jane Wayland, it has grown into one of Arizona's oldest and largest community-based behavioral health providers, with more than 1,000 employees and over 115 service sites.
The organisation provides primary care, substance abuse and mental health services across seven counties, including Maricopa, Gila, Pinal, Mohave, Coconino and Yavapai, as well as the Phoenix metropolitan area and rural Maricopa County. Its service portfolio covers outpatient mental health treatment, psychiatric care, addiction and substance abuse support, intensive inpatient treatment for crisis situations, and primary care.
SB&H states four core values: Compassion, Integrity, Quality and Empowerment, alongside an "Empowered Belonging" culture intended to support each individual in reaching their potential.
