Scholars of Finance is a national nonprofit founded in 2014 that develops principled finance leaders through leadership development, mentorship and character-building programmes for undergraduates. The organisation works with students preparing for careers stewarding capital with integrity, and states a mission of transforming the economic system to serve the greater good.

Its programmes include leadership development courses, a mentorship scheme connecting students with purpose-driven finance professionals, a speaker series offering exposure to practitioners, and technical finance training delivered through partnerships. Practical experience is provided through university chapter projects; the organisation reports more than 60 chapters across its network.

Since 2014 Scholars of Finance says it has impacted more than 8,300 students, with over 3,700 members and candidates and more than 1,300 professionals involved, representing upwards of 100 firms. Its activities are concentrated in the United States, spanning the finance, higher education and nonprofit sectors.
