A faith-based non-profit founded in 1983 that provides humanitarian aid, resettlement and social services to Israel and Jewish communities worldwide, helping over one million people a year.
The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews (IFCJ, also known as The Fellowship) is a faith-based non-profit that builds bridges between Christians and Jews while delivering humanitarian care and aid to Israel and Jewish communities worldwide. Founded in 1983 by Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein, the organisation is led by President and Global CEO Yael Eckstein. It operates at an annual scale of approximately $300 million and helps more than one million Jews in need each year.
Its programme work spans four main areas: helping Jews from around the world resettle in Israel; fighting poverty within Israel; assisting impoverished elderly Jews and orphans in the former Soviet Union; and providing humanitarian assistance, security support and essential social services. Geographic presence covers Israel, the former Soviet Union, the United States and global Jewish communities more broadly.
The organisation describes itself as rooted in Christian-Jewish relations and supported by a base of evangelical Christian donors, with a mission-driven focus on blessing Israel and the Jewish people. It works across non-profit and humanitarian aid, refugee resettlement, poverty relief, elderly and orphan care, and security assistance.
