GoodPower

GoodPower is a global research, strategic communications and campaigning organisation working on the renewable energy transition through digital media, technology, elections and advocacy.

GoodPower is a global research, strategic communications and campaigning organisation founded in 2008. It works to unlock the economic potential of the renewable energy transition through digital media, smart technology, elections and renewable energy advocacy. The organisation, formerly known as Action for the Climate Emergency, rebranded as GoodPower in 2025 and operates globally from a diverse, highly skilled staff.

The organisation runs six core programs: Good Influence, focused on creator marketing and digital influence; Good Elections, covering elections and voter registration; Good Energy, on renewable energy advocacy and building local support; Good Global; Good Food, on food systems advocacy; and the Better Accelerator. Supporting these are the Creator Collective, a network of more than 8,500 creators with a combined reach of over 350m followers, the Good Data Lab, which produces empirical, evidence-driven research, and Better Lab, the organisation's innovation unit.

Reported figures include 3 billion ads and impressions delivered, an action network of 1.4 million advocates, 6GW of new renewable energy built with local support, and more than 350,000 underrepresented voters registered since 2020.

Technical work spans digital media, AI engineering, data science and empirical research, creator and influencer marketing, smart technology, political campaign technology and renewable energy development. The staff combine experience in renewable development, AI engineering, political campaigns, PhD-level research and creator marketing. GoodPower describes its mission as accelerating the transition to a decarbonised economy that works for everyone, with an evidence-driven approach to advocacy.
