Arts Bonita

Arts Bonita is a nonprofit arts organisation founded in 1960 and incorporated in 1991, serving Southwest Florida from two separate Visual Arts and Performing Arts campuses in Bonita Springs, Florida. The organisation reports more than 100,000 visitors a year and is currently expanding its Visual Arts Campus. An ongoing emphasis on accessibility underpins its work: artistic expression, cultural participation and creative education are to be made available to people of all ages. Its programming runs year-round and spans visual and performing arts classes in drawing, painting, collage, sculpture, glass arts, pottery, printmaking, theater, dance, film and digital arts. Alongside teaching, the organisation stages concerts, exhibitions, festivals, lectures and panel discussions intended as meeting points for artists and audiences, and presents three award-winning National Fine Art Festivals. More than $250,000 is invested each year in scholarships and community outreach. The stated aim is to broaden access to arts education, encourage inclusive dialogue and build bridges across communities, generations and nationalities, in line with a mission-driven culture centred on serving artists of all ages and enriching diverse community culture across the region.
