Krasl Art Center is a non-profit art centre based in downtown St. Joseph, Michigan, serving residents and visitors across southwest Michigan. It provides art exhibitions, installations, events and art education, and displays contemporary sculpture on its campus and throughout the surrounding community. Its public art is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The collection includes works by Dale Chihuly, Richard Hunt and George Rickey.
Its education programmes run year-round for both youth and adults, covering drawing, painting, photography, stop-motion animation, ceramics and sculpture through classes, camps, guest artist workshops and outreach. In Benton Harbor, the Richard Hunt Studio Center serves as a community resource honouring the legacy of the American sculptor.
The centre also organises the Krasl Art Fair on the Bluff, an annual event held each July at Lake Bluff Park in St. Joseph. As a non-profit, it is supported by donors, volunteers and members, with an emphasis on making art freely accessible and extending outreach across southwest Michigan.
