Inter-Tribal Council of Nevada

The Inter-Tribal Council of Nevada (ITCN) is a 501(c)3 non-profit founded in 1966 and based in Reno and Sparks, Nevada. It serves as the governing body of 28 Tribal Nations across the state and as a unified political voice for Nevada's tribal communities, working through advocacy, policy development, and the administration of federally and state-funded programmes. The organisation employs approximately 160 people.
ITCN delivers services across health, education, social services and employment. Its programme portfolio includes WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) nutrition support; Head Start early childhood education; the Child Care Development Fund (CCDF) for tribal families; a Family Violence Prevention Program; Native Workforce Development; and AoA Elders Services through the Administration on Aging. All 28 tribal communities in Nevada are served.
