Achievement Network (ANet) is a nonprofit founded in 2005 by a group of school leaders to help school and system leaders strengthen teaching and learning. The organisation works alongside education leaders on assessments, coaching and advisory services, with the stated aim of improving equitable outcomes for all students. Its founding location is Boston, and it operates across the United States.
ANet's work spans three main offerings. Interim Assessments are designed to inform instruction and build alignment across the instructional core. Instructional Leadership Coaching supports school and system leaders in driving improvement in teaching and learning. Academic Strategy Advising helps schools and districts align assessments, curriculum and professional learning to enact instructional change. The underlying technical domains include educational assessment design, instructional coaching, academic strategy advising, curriculum and professional learning alignment, and education data and tools.
The organisation reports partnerships with over 800 schools and 100 systems, reaching 32 states and territories. Its focus areas fall within K-12 education, school districts and education systems. Cultural signals emphasise a mission-driven, partnership-oriented approach, a belief that every child deserves an excellent education, and a focus on sustainable results and systemic instructional change.
