It produces peer-reviewed Islamic content designed to address doubts and contemporary challenges facing Muslim communities worldwide. Its output spans several formats: scholarly articles and research papers, videos, podcasts, blogs, eBooks, and animations and infographics. All of the institute's resources are offered free of charge.
The organisation works across Islamic research, content production, media production - including video, animation and podcasting - and digital publishing. Its stated mission is threefold: to dismantle doubts, to nurture conviction and to inspire contribution. It holds that faith grounded in knowledge and reason empowers contribution to society, and aims to foster what it calls faithful changemakers - people who are tranquil, confident and purpose-driven.
Yaqeen Institute states values of sincerity, excellence, compassion, trust, steadfastness and collaboration. Emphasis is placed on credibility, peer review and scholarly rigour, alongside a philosophy of free and widely accessible education. Although based in the United States, its audience is global, serving Muslim communities worldwide.
