Heluna Health

Heluna Health is a national nonprofit that advances public health by supporting evidence-based public health programs and providing fiscal sponsorship and comprehensive administrative support to community organizations, public health agencies, healthcare systems and policymakers. Founded in 1968, the organisation has spent more than 50 years in the field and has supported hundreds of programs and organizations across the United States, with particular activity in California and work extending beyond the state.

Its services fall into four main areas. Fiscal sponsorship and third-party administration covers administrative services for community organizations and public health programs. Program design and management concerns the design and management of evidence-based public health programs. Program evaluation and research provides evaluation and research services for public health programs and interventions. Medi-Cal billing and administration offers billing and administrative support.

Heluna Health works across the public health, healthcare and health policy sectors, partnering with government and public health agencies, healthcare systems and community-based organisations. The nonprofit describes itself as mission-driven, with a focus on enhancing the health, wellness and resilience of communities and a stated vision of building healthy, strong communities for all.
