Equitable Hiring Group is a collective of independent hiring professionals who share common values, practices and tools. Its members work together to help mission-driven organizations build intentionally designed, equity- and inclusion-centred hiring processes, combining decades of combined experience in nonprofit talent acquisition with a partnership approach that seeks to understand both an organisation's needs and a candidate's aspirations.
The group provides talent search and recruitment services for nonprofits, social enterprises and impact-driven organisations, covering roles from entry level through executive positions. Its work spans sectors including social, racial and environmental justice. Between them, its members have placed hundreds of professionals; named client organisations include Acumen, iCivics, The Omidyar Group, Sierra Club and Supermajority.
Two further areas of practice are prominent. The first is hiring process design, in which equity and inclusion are prioritised at every stage rather than treated as an afterthought. The second is executive search, delivered with an explicit commitment to equity and transparency and to a fit that works for both the hiring organisation and the candidate.
