AidKit

AidKit builds payments, eligibility, fraud prevention and case-management infrastructure that lets government and nonprofit partners run aid programmes in days, not months.

AidKit, founded in 2020 as a nonprofit initiative during the COVID-19 pandemic, builds the infrastructure behind government and nonprofit aid programmes in the United States. Its platform covers the full arc of aid delivery: custom multilingual applications, eligibility verification, identity and document processing, case management, and secure disbursement via RTP, ACH, FedNow and prepaid cards. The stated aim is to compress programme launch times from months to days and the delivery of aid from months to hours, with rigorous fraud prevention attached.

The company operates across 27 states and reports more than 240 government and nonprofit partners, over $385m in aid distributed and more than 600,000 people served. Its work spans emergency assistance, humanitarian delivery, direct cash assistance and public-sector social services, placing it at the intersection of payments infrastructure, fraud detection and public-sector technology. Engineering roles touch real-time payment rails, eligibility and identity systems, case management tooling and application platforms built to run in any language.

AidKit is structured as a Public Benefit Corporation and a Certified B Corp. Its stated mission is to build for the margins - unhoused neighbours, undocumented workers and systematically excluded communities facing compounding crises - combining speed and trust with dignity for recipients, and a commitment to accessibility in programme design.
