Launch Global

Christian missions organisation founded in 2005 that mobilises local churches to train and send long-term workers to unreached people groups through cross-cultural cohorts and church partnerships.

Launch Global is a Christian missions organization that mobilizes local churches to develop and send long-term workers to unreached people groups. Founded in 2005, it has grown from four employees to more than 140 staff members and has sent over 500 global workers since 2014. Its focus is on preparing healthy, long-term laborers and on multiplying healthy churches among unreached peoples, rather than short-term service.

Its work rests on two programmes. The first places groups of believers in year-long, cross-cultural training cohorts designed to prepare workers for long-term global service. The second builds strategic partnerships with local churches so that training is connected to the church body that develops and sends labourers and leaders. The organisation currently maintains 22 local church partnerships across the United States and internationally, and its founding partnership was with The Austin Stone Community Church in 2011.

Launch Global works in the United States and internationally, including the 10/40 Window, and is associated with Austin, Texas. Its areas of practice include cross-cultural missionary training, church partnership development, leadership development and missionary mobilisation. It is a faith-based organisation whose stated aim is Gospel access for unreached people groups.
