Canopy Children's Solution

Canopy Children's Solution is a Mississippi nonprofit providing children's behavioral health, education, autism therapy, residential treatment, foster care and family support services.

Canopy Children's Solution is Mississippi's largest and most comprehensive nonprofit provider of children's behavioral health, educational and family support solutions. Founded in 1912 and formerly known as Mississippi Children's Home Society, the organisation has served the state's children and families for more than 110 years. It operates across Mississippi, with locations in Jackson, Hattiesburg, Biloxi, Gulfport, Greenville, McComb, Meridian, Olive Branch, Starkville and Tupelo.

The organisation runs a broad continuum of care. Its Behavioral Health Clinics provide evaluations, therapy, crisis management and psychiatric services. Early Intervention Autism Therapy serves children aged 18 months to eight years, while the CARES Center is a psychiatric residential treatment facility for young people aged six to 17. Educational provision includes the fully-accredited CARES Schools and The Canopy School, an individualised environment for children with learning differences. Other services include Mississippi Youth Programs Around the Clock (MYPAC), an intensive in-home behavioural health solution; wraparound support for families with children facing serious behavioural challenges; therapeutic foster care; and adoption services, a line of work that traces back to the organisation's origins.

Additional support is offered through LINK, a free resource connecting families with assistance and information. Canopy Children's Solution is accredited by The Joint Commission and holds the Candid Platinum Seal of Transparency. It has been recognised as a Great Place to Work for five consecutive years.
